The RECORB project

Promoting, uniting and showcasing European territories through their brewing culture.

Who we are

A network born of a shared passion

The European Network of Brewing Communes and Regions (RECORB) was founded in June 2026 by beer-tourism enthusiasts. It is a non-profit association.

RECORB connects towns and regions that share a passion for beer, heritage, traditions and local identity, across the whole of Europe.

Our mission

"To promote, unite and showcase, on a European scale, the towns, communes and regions whose heritage or economic and socio-cultural activities have a significant brewing dimension."

Our 4 objectives

What we aim to achieve

Showcase heritage

Enabling communes and regions to promote local brewing know-how and traditions, and to showcase European brewing heritage.

Sustainable beer tourism

Fostering sustainable beer tourism through routes, itineraries, labels and responsible experiences, in both urban and rural settings.

Beer as a cultural gateway

Making beer a gateway to European historical and cultural heritage - landscape, gastronomy, history and regional traditions.

Local economic development

Supporting all brewing actors: brewers, microbrewers, café owners, restaurateurs, maltsters and hop growers.

Our commitments

Four values at the heart of our action

Craftsmanship

Promoting European brewing expertise and encouraging its transmission.

Traditions

Preserving and showcasing the brewing traditions that shape our identity.
